Emidio Capriotti is actively promoting training in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. In collaboration with other researchers, we are working to develop a training program in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CB2) at University of Bologna.
From March 13, 2017 I will give the Module 2 of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics I course at the Master of Bioinformatics at the University of Bologna.
At the University of Düsseldorf, during the summer 2016, the module Introduction to Protein-Protein Interaction Network (iPPI) was offered as a part of the Network Biology course (M4424) organized by Prof. Martin Lercher and Prof. Markus Kollmann.
In the fall 2015 the module Introduction to Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (iCB2) was taught as a part of the course Introduction to Molecular Systems Biotechnology (M4453) organized by Prof. Markus Kollmann.
Previously, with Malay Basu we developed the following two courses offered to the the students of the Graduate Biomedical Science (GBS) program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
- CB2-101 Introduction to Scientific Computing (3 Credit). Instructors: Malay Basu and Emidio Capriotti
- CB2-201 Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (3 Credit). Instructors: Malay Basu and Emidio Capriotti
